Bardiya National park (968 sq. km); is the largest and most undisturbed wilderness area in the Terai. Thickly covered with sal trees and carpeted with class and savannah, the park has the second largest tiger population after Chitwan National park. Other wild animals that roam here are the one-horned rhino, wild elephant, swamp deer, black buck, antelope, Gharial crocodile, and genetic dolphin. Endangered birds that make there home here include the Bengal florican and sarus crane, The Park headquarters is about a four hour drive from the town of Nepalgunj which is linked to the Kathmandu by road (531km) and by air 75 Minutes.
How to get there?
By flight:
Fly Kathmandu to Nepalgunja. Here there are panoramic views of the western part of Nepal Himalayas, including Annapurna & Dhaulagiri. From Nepalgunja to Bardia national park is 100 KM by jeep.
By Road:
A 735 km drive (about 20 hrs.) from Kathmandu - Ambasa bus Stand, Bardia district and our staff pick up from here to Bardia National Park. It is 16 Kilometers distance from here.

Day 01:
On your arrival at Nepalgunj airport or Ambasa bus Stand our staff will receive you, then you will be transferred to our lodge / resort where you will be offered refreshment & be given a briefing on our lodge & its facilities. After being given your programs for the day, your room will then be allocated to you.

Day 02:
06:AM Wake up calls
6:30 AM. Breakfast
7:30 AM Elephant Ride. (For an hour) an excellent opportunity to get the lifetime experience on the Elephant back and to see the Wildlife of the Park.Crocodile Breeding Centerand Tharu Cultural Museum
1:00 PM; Lunch
3:00 PM Jungle walk. An excellent opportunity to see the wild animals, small mammals, birds and waits in the tower to have the wild sightseeing, accompanied by our experienced naturalists and wild life tracker. You will have excellent photographic opportunities are plentiful.
Day 03:
06: Wake up calls
06:30 AM. Breakfast
7:00 AM; Tiger tracking & Bird watching. An excellent opportunity to see a Royal Bengal Tiger and a great many species of birds found in Bardia National Park.
1: 00; PM Lunch
2: 30 PM; Jeep Drive: Jeep Drive. An excellent opportunity to see wild animals and you will also encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Bardia national park their home.
Day 04:
06:00 AM; Wake up call
6:30 AM; Breakfast
07:00 AM; Visit to Karnali River for Dolphin Sightseeing.
12:00 Noon: Lunch
1:30:Departure for Kathmandu or onward journey.
