Mount Thamserku 6,608m. Expedition autumn 2012
The mountain Thamserku is popular expedition in Everest region. Mount Thamserku is snowy saddled beautiful mountain which rises superbly like the saddle shaped summit from Khumbu and Hinku valley; and to the next another prominent mountain Kangtenga is east. Mount Thamserku is remembered a very difficult, challenging and technical for climbing but most mountaineering adventure seeker like to explore it though it's challenging. From Thamserku base camp, high camp or from the top, there can be seen a very nicely view of Khumbu himal, Everest, Cho Oyu, Pumori, Ama Dablam, Kusum Kangaru and also so many more tiny mountains and low valley. Trekking route fallows: Kathmandu - Lukla flight and trek to Phakding, Namche Bazaar, Phungi Thanga & cross to the Phungi khola, and after crossing the Plunge Thankga khola, steep climb up is there to reach the base camp.
