True to its name, the Renjo La Pass trek involves the adventurous crossing of three highest passes in Everest region, namely Kongma La (5535m), Cho La (5368m) and Renjo La (5360m). It is undoubtedly the most challenging trekking route in Everest region requiring more than two weeks to complete the circuit.

The trek takes you to all the major landmarks of the Everest region. You will hike up to Kalapatthar (5545m) and walk to Everest Base Camp (5364m) to get a glimpse Mt. Everest, world highest point on earth, along with Nuptse, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Island peak and Khumbu Glacier. A day is spent in Namche, the capital city of Khumbu valley and a centrifugal point of Sherpa culture and hospitality followed by a visit Tengboche Monastery, the biggest and sacred Buddhist temple, and enjoy the stunning view of Mt. Ama Dablam (6812m). You will cross the Cho La pass (5368m) to enter Gokyo valley and climb Gokyo Ri for another round of breathtaking views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Cho-Oyu, Makalu, Kangtenga, Gyachung Kang etc along with Gokyo Lakes and glaciers. Follow the trail to reach Renjo La pass and Angladumba Tsho Lake (4600m) before descending down to Namche Bazaar.

Much of trail falls within the conservation area of Sagarmatha National Park, which is a world heritage site. The park is known for pristine natural forests and rare wildlife such as snow leopard, Himalayan thar and Himalayan Monal (Lophophorus).
