Mount Mera Peak 6654m. expedition with Cross Amphulapcha Pass autumn 2012
Mount Mera peak is one of the most popular peaks of Nepal 's “18 climbing Peaks ". For the trekkers, the walk from Lukla through the Sherpa country of the remote Inkhu valley is an unforgettable experience; that offers superb scenery, and abundant wildlife - including rumored sightings of the legendary yeti (snowman). Mera peak climbing is easy climbing peak in Nepal. You can do ski descending down from the near TOP. From the vertex of Mera peak, you can see Mount Everest 8848m., Mount Makalu 8464m., Mount Kanchanjunga 8586m., Mount Lhotse 8516m., as well as many tiny mountains. When reached on the TOP of Mera peak, climbers feel it as a haven.
Each year, about 700 to 1500 foreigner visitors climb the 6654m, high Mera peak. For this achievement it requires mountaineering less skills and this Mera peak permit from the Nepal Mountaineering Association. Monterosa Treks and Expedition organized this peak every season.
