Mount Kailash ( Kangrinpoche) Situated western part of Tibet, has been considered sacred by Buddhists. Hindus, JAINS & Bompons for thousands of year. For the Hindus and Buddhists it is the centre of the Universe. A pilgrimage to the mountain and round it is such a supreme goal for the faithful. It is easy to understand how pilgrimage, walking overland for weeks or months, feel they are really approaching the centre of the universe Since ancient times. Mt. Kailash has been revered as the source of four of the great rivers of Asia, fuelled by the waters of near by holy lake Manasarovar -Indus, Bramaputra (Tsangpo), Karnali( The sacred Ganges) . Which have their Sources within Sixty miles of the Mountain. One can go to this Centre or universe joining our group or make separately tours/treks.

09 July 2008 - rest day in Nyalam – acclimatization
10 July 2008 - stay in Nyalam – meditation in Milarepa cave – soft walk for better acclimatization
11 July 2008 - drive to Kyirong (Maybe No permit due to Olympic Games) We will know only March or April 2008
12 July 2008 - stay in Kyirong - meditation in Milarepa caves
13 July 2008 - drive to Saga ( 4600m )
14 July 2008 - drive to Zhongba to Paryang ( 4750m ) 255km
15 July 2008 - drive to Manasarovar Lake ( 4560m ) 277km
16 July 2008 - rest day near Chuku bridge near Mt Kailash
17 July 2008 - kora with yaks from Darchen to Dira-puk gompa / 6u / 20km
18 July 2008 - kora with yaks from Dira-puk-gompa to Zutul-puk gompa / 6u / 18km
19 July 2008 - kora with yaks from Zutul-puk gompa to Darchen / 4u / 14km - drive to Manasarovar Lake ( 4560m )
20 July 2008 - rest day near Manasarovar Lake
21 July 2008 - drive to Zanda ( 3650m )
22 July 2008 - visit Guge (or Gorka) Kingdom: Thöling gompa and Tsaparang
23 July 2008 - drive to Manasarovar Lake
24 July 2008 - rest day near Manasarovar Lake
25 July 2008 - drive to Paryang
26 July 2008 - drive to Saga
27 July 2008 - drive to Zangmu
28 July 2008 - drive to Kathmandu
29 July 2008 - rest day in Kathmandu
30 July 2008 - in Kathmandu: visit - fly back to Belgium
