Everest Expedition Trip Itinerary:
DAY 01 : CHENNAI- MAHABALIPURAM
Arrival at Madras airport, meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to Mahabalipuram. On arrival check in at the hotel. overnight stay.
DAY 02 : MAHABALIPURAM - KANCHIPURAM - MAMALLAPURAM
Morning visit Kanchipuram one of the seven sacred cities of India. Then proceed to Mahabalipuram, now a beach resort but once it had trade and cultural relations with Rome in the west and south east Asia. Evening relax on the beach. Overnight stay.
DAY 03 : MAMALLAPURAM - PONDICHERRY
Morning departure for Pondicherry. After arrival check in at the hotel. It is city of many battles fought between British and French and was Capital of French India before it attained independence in 1954. afternoon visit Sir Aurobindo's Ashram. Overnight stay.
DAY 04 : PONDICHERRY - CHIDAMBRAM - TANJORE
Morning leave for Thanjavur. Enroute visiting Chidambram. Proceed to Tanjore which is called cultural capital of the region. On arrival check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Brihadeeshwara Temple built in 10th century. Overnight stay.
DAY 05 : THANJAVUR- TRICHY-THANJAVUR :
Morning after breakfast excursion to Trichy. Visit Rock Fort which is landmark of the city. Then tour of Srirangam Island. Back to Thanjavur for Overnight Stay.
DAY 06 : THANJAVUR - MADURAI
Morning drive to Madurai. After arrival check in at the hotel. Afternoon city tour of Madurai which has been patterned on the lotus flower with famous Meenakshi Temple at the centre. The temple is famous for gigantic gateway which is 49 mts. high Overnight stay.
DAY 07 : MADURAI - PERYIAR
Morning leave for Peryar Wild Life Sanctuary. Afternoon visit park to enjoy wild life and watch wild elephants in their natural habitat. Overnight stay.
DAY 08 : PERIYAR - KOCHI
Morning leave for Cochin. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Cochin has one of the best natural harbours in the country. Afternoon city tour of Cochin visiting Dutch Palace and St. Francis Church, the oldest Church by European in India. Evening witness one of the classical dances of South India known as Kathakali. Overnight stay.
DAY 09 : KOCHI - OOTY
Morning leave for Ooty. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Afternoon free to explore Ooty, the lush green hill station. Overnight stay.
DAY 10 : OOTY - MYSORE
Morning departure for Mysore. Arrival and check in at the hotel. Afternoon city tour of Mysore visiting City Palace, Beautiful Vrindavan Gardens and Chamundi Temple. Overnight stay.
DAY 11 : MYSORE - HASSAN ( Chikmanglur)
Morning departure for Hassan. Arrival Hassan and check in at the hotel. Afternoon tour of Cheenakeshawa temple at Belur dating back to 13th century during Hoyassala dynasty and then visit Hoysaleswar temple at Helebid. Overnight stay at Chikmanglur.
DAY 12 : HASSAN - BANGALORE
Morning departure for Bangalore. Arrival at Bangalore and check in at the hotel.Afternoon city tour of Bangalore. Overnight stay.
DAY 13 : BANGALORE
Transfer to airport to catch your flight for onwards destination.
