The first ascent of Mount Putha 7246m was made by a British team in 1954, and the last ascent was made by a Swiss team on 23 May 2007. It follows the route Kathmandu to Nepalgunj to Dolpa (Jufhal) by air and then treks to Dunai, Tarakot, Musi Khola Kagkot - Yak Kharka and then reaches the Base Camp of Mount Putha Homunculi. The path from the base camp to Camp-1, lying on the moraine, must be marked with cairns, since it is a bit difficult to locate. C1 is usually placed at the beginning of the glacier.
As there are fewer crevasses between Camp-1 and Camp-, skis can be used between the two. On rock band, you can set up camp since the route is quite clear. The group leaves early in the morning around 4 AM on summit day from 5,700m. The weather should be clear, and the climbing route from camp is long. There is only a false summit visible from the route. Base Camp is at 4,800 meters, Camp I is at 5,300 meters, Camp II is at 6,700 meters, and Summit is at 6,800 meters.
