It was a British team that made the first ascent of Mount Putha Homunculi 7246m., while a Swiss team made the last ascent on 23 May 2007. To reach the basecamp of Mount Putha Homunculi, the trek begins in Kathmandu, goes to Nepalgunj, Dolpa (Jufhal), Tarakot, Musi Khola Kagkot, and Yak Kharka. Putting up cairns will make it easier to move from the base camp to Camp-1, lying on the moraine. The first camp is normally established at the beginning of the glacier. There are not many clefts between Camp-1 and Camp-, making it possible to ski from one to the other. As the route is clear, you can set up camp on rock band. We should begin summit day at 5,700m. around 4 A.M. if the weather is clear. From camp, it is a long climb. Only false summit can be seen from route. The base camp is at 4,800 m, the first camp is at 5,300 m, the second camp is at 6,700 m, and the peak is conquered from camp 2.
